Spray Commander

In this section you will find information on how to solve some technical problems with your device. If your device is still not working after you followed the procedures below, you will need to contact our customer service :

The product is not working

• Did you turn on the on/off switch of the receiver collar?
• Is there a battery in the device, and a battery in the remote control?
• Are the batteries on the right side? (+ / - poles)
• Did you try changing the battery? ( Alkaline battery: approx. 15 days)
• Did you fill the device?
• Do the device and the remote control have the same ID number? (R912 1D01 and T912 1D01)

• A common problem is that the device responds to the beep sound (#1) but number 2 and 3 button does not work. Try exchanging the battery from the remote to the device and from the device to the remote.  (The remote does not take much power from the battery… it can last up to 5 months; the device takes more power because of the sound and the sprays).

Procedure

• Put device on a hard surface and empty the device with a pen or something similar by pressing on the fill-up valve.
• Press on Remote button #3 – Do you hear a click?
• No click? – Bang with your device a few times on the table, there might be a temporary air block in the device.  
• Press the button 2 (Small Spray)  If you hear the clicking sound, fill back your device it is supposed to work; if not, call Multivet Customer Service

• Call Multivet Customer Service (warranty / exchange).
• Note the serial number of the product (Take off battery cover. Take out battery, the serial number appears).

• If your device constantly does not reach at least 120 feet / 40 meters and there is no interference from other sources (wireless telephone, metal door, (aerial) masts etc.) your device might be defective.
• Call Multivet Customer Service (warranty/ exchange). Note the serial number of the product (Take off battery cover. Take out the battery, the serial number appears).

• Did you switch off the device when not in use? (Alkaline battery: approx. 15 days).

• Call Multivet Customer Service to replace cover free of charge. (Shipping cost only)

• Call Multivet Customer Service to replace free of charge. (Shipping cost only)

• The remote control is no longer sold separately due to its ID numbers. Customer needs to contact Multivet Customer Service to purchase a new device & remote.

• Note the serial number of the product ( ex. ID04)
• Customer needs to contact Multivet Customer Service; customer to send 1 Spray Commander to Multivet and we will exchange that Spray Commander for a new one with a different ID number. (Otherwise the dogs will both react on the same remote control!)
