Multivet's SSSCAT electronic cat repellent is a non-invasive method

In a study submitted and approved by the Canadian Council on Animal Care,
with a total of 31 cats studied (16 spayed females and 15 castrated males),
it was found that the association between the sound and the spray was
fast and using SSSCAT to redirect behavior was highly effective. 94.5%
of all cats in this study stopped jumping on counters, 80% stopped trying
to enter a baby room, the owner's bedroom or the living room with a bird
cage, and Ssscat was found to be 100% effective with other behaviours
such as fishing in the fish tank, drinking water in the fountain, and
eating plants. The automated cat deterrent did not affect the relationship
with the owner. As far as other behaviours observed during this study,
all cats were observed to learn to avoid the cat deterrent training device
